Grace Olsen

President

Hi, my name is Grace Olsen and I am the president. My job entails planning meetings and setting up the different fundraisers we have.
I started ASL by taking the introduction to ASL class at Pacific Cascade Middle school and fell in love with it. I was secretary of ASL HS in Sophomore year, President in Junior year and now I am president again as a senior. I have done 3 years of ASL and absolutely love Deaf culture.

Dianne Caras

Vice President

As vice president of ASLHS my duties are helping out Grace, our president, planning out weekly meetings, raise money for ASLHS, and contributing fun and great ideas for so our club will thrive and grow throughout the year. I will also help raise awareness for the Deaf community and our club.
I am 17 years old, and a senior in high school. I have a wonderful family, a very cute and fluffy dog named bubba. I love the outdoors, but in the summer I go hiking and biking, and in the winter, my family and I go skiing. I became interested in ASL in freshman year when I took ASL 1 and quickly became interested in the Deaf community. This will be my second year in ASLHS but I’ve done all levels of ASL. I was born and raised in Washington, and spent my whole life living in Issaquah, going to school at IVE, IMS, and IHS.
